Fostering is highly specialised because it entails looking after someone else's child for a specific period of time, or in some cases, until the child reaches independence.

Free Initial Training Course

We run a training course throughout the year specifically geared to people who are considering fostering.
They are free and are held in the evenings and to allow people who work to attend. If you would like to be considered for our next available training course, please contact us.

Jay Fostering is an Outstanding Ofsted Rated independent fostering service established for 8 years with a base in Leicester and is expanding. We help over 30 councils find foster homes for children they cannot place with foster carers with their Local Authority

We are currently expanding our foster carer recruitment in the West Midlands and are looking for people with a background in social or health care in the East Midlands including Nottingham and Derby. Although experience isn’t always necessary, enthusiasm and a willingness to be part of the Jay Family are important
